Drunk Pokemon Tattoo Takes Internet by Storm

Two days is all it takes for the internet to take hold of something that is a seemingly terrible idea, and turn it into something amazing that the world will appreciate. The picture above was posted to reddit.com by the young man's friend after he completed a tattoo on himself of what he is claiming to be a version of Charmander from the popular Nintendo video game 'Pokémon'.

Most people who know what Charmander looks like would say that this is a particularly poor version of the pocket monster and would be embarrassed to have this inked onto their skin forever. In this case however, the people of the internet have turned this into a thing of beauty and immortalised it all over the world within different mediums.

The original post to reddit.com claims "My friend was drunk and on Xanax when he decided to tattoo a black face Charmander with no experience or artistic ability. The flame saves it." 

I have no doubts that the 'artist' has no artistic ability and that he was most likely under the influence of some sort of drug or concoction of many drugs. This doesn't however take away from the fact that the internet has become fascinated and obsessed with this apparent act of insanity. The world has responded, showing its interest with the creation of several different forms of merchandise such as drink bottles, mouse pads, rings, gifs and high quality renders all depicting the original tattoo in all its glory.
