Marvel's Spider-Man 2 on PC Available Now!
Spider-Man is swinging his way onto PC once again with his latest installment hitting PC's today. Spider-Man 2 originally released in 2023 on the PS5 system holds an impressive Metacritic score of 90 with users still at 8.7 despite the best efforts of trolls who have clearly never played the game.
Taking control of both Peter Parker and Miles Moralis you're once again tasked with saving New York City, this time from the brutal and violent Kraven the Hunter. Kraven has turned the city into his own personal hunting ground leaving you with some epic moments with mayhem happening all around you.
Throw Venom into the mix who bonds with Peter and you have the bones for an epic story full of twists and turns.
Peter's heavily influenced by Venom, and we see the evolution in his character to become not only a better person but a better Spider-Man. All the while Miles is fast growing into his role of the new protector and embracing his path forward.
I had an absolute blast on the PS5 and didn't think it could look any better, I'll be trying again soon enough on the PC.

Today, PlayStation Australia brings the latest epic chapter in the Marvel’s Spider-Man franchise to PC, where players will battle as Spider-Men, Peter Parker and Miles Morales, against a rogue’s gallery of iconic Marvel Super Villains, including the monstrous Venom and the ruthless Kraven the Hunter.
With the game available now, PlayStation is excited to share more about the awesome new PC-enhanced features the team has been working on.
Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, created by Insomniac in collaboration with Marvel, is a technological and graphical showcase utilising tools like ray-tracing to bring the city of Marvel’s New York to life. On PC, players will encounter a variety of new ray-tracing options with individual quality settings to finetune performance and fidelity across a broad range of hardware configurations, as well as full support for ultra-wide aspect ratios.
This includes NVIDIA DLSS Ray Reconstruction, which improves raytracing quality on supported hardware. Various performance-enhancing technologies, including NVIDIA DLSS 3 and AMD FSR 3.1 upscaling and frame generation, as well as Intel XeSS upscaling, are supported. *
Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 on PC offers a wide range of graphics settings and presets, including options without ray-tracing, like dynamic resolution scaling. Check out an overview of the recommended specifications for a variety of graphics presets at the PlayStation Blog.
Two editions of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 on PC are available now including the Standard Edition and Digital Deluxe Edition (DDE). Players also have the option to upgrade to the DDE content if they already own the Standard Edition.
Upon purchase, the previously announced Pre-Purchase offer will be made available to all players as PC Purchase Perks. This includes:
- Arachknight Suit early unlock for Peter with three colour variants
- Shadow-Spider Suit early unlock for Miles with three colour variants
- Web Grabber gadget early unlock
- +3 Skill Points
Players will receive two early unlock suits: the Spider-Man 2099 Black Suit and the Miles Morales 2099 Suit, plus additional benefits like trophies and friend management if they opt to connect to a PlayStation Network account. A PlayStation Network account is optional to play Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 on PC.
Insomniac is also excited to collaborate with NetEase Games and Marvel Games to bring Peter Parker’s Advanced Suit 2.0 from Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 to Marvel Rivals. To celebrate Marvel’s Spider-Man 2’s PC release, Marvel Rivals players can purchase this suit in-game now. Check out the Advanced Suit 2.0 in action here.
