The Elder Scrolls Returns: Just Not How Expected
I am going to date myself again here but 2006 was my first real foray into the Elder Scrolls universe with the original release of Oblivion. I was instantly hooked to this new to me world and swiftly picked up its accompanying expansions when they became available. It also started my love affair with Bethesda RPG titles before I spiraled into borderline addiction with the release of Skyrim.
Now, seemingly out of nowhere, despite all the leaks and rumours, Bethesda has shadow dropped all the information for an Oblivion remaster along with the full game itself, all in the matter of a few hours.
You can pick it up right now on PS5 and PC as well as the Xbox Family of devices via Game Pass.
Check out the trailer below and full release for all the details. Plus you can see the entire live stream at the bottom of the page.
